Information:
Ah, what can be said about this collective group of high school students...

E-Rock High School at the time had 2 kids who could actually play drums, those kids were Scott Kockler and Sean Carey. Like most other places on earth, there were enough guitarists to feed an arena full of Ace Frehley groupies. There were about 3 kids who considered themselves bassists, Jon being one of them, and Matt was the only dude I can think of that just sang (though by the time he was a senior, he was playing keyboard and playing a version of Evaporated by Ben Folds Five with Jon).

Though there were numerous "separate" bands at E-Rock High (Maple Six-Pack, Jules Vernes Fish, More About Blinn), all these kids seemed to float around between bands...to the point that at times it seemed like everyone should just get together and call themselves "The E-Rock All-Stars." (By 1997 that name would be claimed by a group of middle-aged E-Rock graduates that played cover tunes that were popular when they were still in school...legal proceedings regarding the rights to that name are on-going...)

Scott and Steve had been playing together since 1994, but never officially as a band. They usually just got together and played bad renditions of Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana, and Green Day songs. Songs *were* written though, Steve pumped out the Rock-Tunes and Scott let out the Rock-Words. A few songs from this time period evolved, grew with them, and are still played by FMGreen today. These songs include I'm Sorry and DESDEMONA. Eventually Jon started jamming with them.
