Information:

At the end of Sophomore year (1995) there was a talent show.

Scott, Steve, and Jon asked Matt to join them and sing with them, he obliged. The unnamed band was announced thrice times during the show...each time under a different name. Steve opened the talent show with a Hendrix-esque version of the Star-Spangled Banner, then the 4-piece busted into a Hendrix/Pink Floyd/Green Day medley to warm even the coldest hearts. That would be the only time Matt ever officially performed with us.

It must be noted that all of this occurred before the release of the blue album.
