Throughout the remainder of the winter/spring of 2002, Saby worked on mastering the album, a task that ended up being far more time consuming than it should have been, and causing Saby far more un-due stress than he should have received.
On May 24th Saby and I headed over to a good friend and colleagues house to put the finishing touches on the mastering. We expected a visit of maybe 3 or 4 hours but, as would be expected based upon the past experience with this record, we ended up being there for close to 10 hours. It was a stress-filled day but we walked away from it with a completed CD Master, just hours before the deadline to get it mailed to the CD manufacturer on time. The next morning I went into the post office and sent the package out, less than one month later we would be releasing the CD, Yellow #5, to a huge audience at the Water Street Music Hall in Rochester. |
